Home School STEM was founded in 2014 by homeschoolers to serve the community with technology and computer science education content for homeschool teens. We use a tagline that says we offer “STEM Classes beyond the code” and we accomplish this with a focus on the things that are required to be in place to make software code more useful and secure.

All students can benefit from Home School STEM courses regardless of their future education or career goals. Students interested in programming and coding can benefit from our classes by learning how the computer systems work and how to manage those systems that their code runs in a secure way. Students interested in other career fields outside or indirectly supporting the information technology field can benefit from learning how the technology around them enhances their work. Home School STEM classes can also enhance a student’s ability to communicate their technology needs to the technology geeks that support them.
